Course Description

Long-term care providers often face the challenge of working with uncooperative residents, their family members, or their legal agents who make it difficult to secure Medicaid benefits or obtain payment for care and services. In this session, experienced attorneys will provide participants strategies, techniques, and real-life examples to improve communication and secure the cooperation of difficult individuals.

Alyssa Desgranges and Megan Jury

Alyssa: Prior to joining Stotler Hayes Group, Alyssa practiced in the areas of family law, probate and estate planning, and general civil litigation. She also has extensive experience working on mass tort settlement administrations. A Michigan native, Alyssa completed her undergraduate studies at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies with a double minor in Spanish and Criminal Justice. Alyssa is licensed to practice in Texas, Colorado, and Michigan. She currently resides in Texas.Megan- A well-rounded attorney, Megan brings nearly a decade of civil litigation experience to Stotler Hayes Group. She has experience with a wide variety of general litigation matters, including complex commercial and financial litigation. She served a three year term on the Board of Directors for the Maricopa County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers’ Division and performed pro bono work for the District Court of Arizona’s Prisoner Rights Program. Megan is admitted to practice law in Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico. She currently resides in Colorado.
